works with lapped surfaces (grain > 320)
mobile instrument with battery driven laser and RF transmission of camera signal

The mobile flatness tester is a shearing interferometer i.e.
an interferometer for optical flatness measurements;
applicable with fine grinded, lapped and polished surfaces made of metal, ceramics, glass,etc.
